Creating a new conference is like making a work of modern art, a process that requires the work of many and is nourished by the talent and the cultural sensibility of the students and teachers that make up the team. It also requires an in-depth analysis of the political and international trends that emerge each year in the world.

Organizing GeMUN 2012 while preserving the Italian Ligurian style that has always set it apart, we formed a research & development team: GeMUN committee, Experts' and Executive groups. Made up by a wide array of talents, the team promotes very professional interpretations of the UN activities in the world based on the different cultural and learning backgrounds. The considerable amount of work that goes into coordinating and bringing together these talents is what identifies this event. Research and development meetings are held continuously, along with trips to the other conferences abroad to Cairo, Boston, Belfast, Paris, The Hague and Saint-Petersburg, training sessions, mock debates as GeMiniMUN when GeMUNers create shapes and colours of the future conference.

Preparing GeMUN is an unforgetable feeling, I witness the tireless efforts of all members of the GeMUN team, MUN Directors, Sponsors, Institutions, Families and all GeMUN friends in working for justice, peace and security.
Looking forward to seeing you in Genoa
